Cottesloe Pirates Feel The Force

It's not every day your sporting heroes swing by to help with training, but for one lucky group of junior rugby kids this is exactly what happened!

Western Force players Solomoni "Junior" Rasolea, Ryan Louwrens and Ross Haylett-Petty returned to their old club to join the Cott Junior Pirates for their weekly training session.   All three  represented the Cottesloe Rugby Club in First Grade before beginning their careers with the Force.  Haylett-Petty's older brother Dane, who has just been selected to represent the Wallabies in the first Test match against England, played junior rugby with Cottesloe proving from little things big things grow.  With the Super Rugby break over the next few weeks all of the boys are hoping to pull on the Cottesloe jersey again.   An amazing experience for all involved and one these aspiring rugby players will not forget in a hurry!

The Cott Junior Pirates have 4 teams represented in the local competition from U6 - U10.   It's not too late to join the Pirates - new players are welcome. For enquiries please contact the club on 0418 953 542.
