Grand Finals Preview!

In a match for the ages, Cottesloe ran down and forced Wests Scarborough to submit in a sustained second half assault, by a score of 32 points to 25.

Due to the fact that there was no game last weekend because of the Bledisloe game at Optus Stadium, this writer has been asked to write up a preview for all five of our teams that will participate in finals this weekend. All four of our men’s grades and our ladies will play at a variety of grounds on Saturday and Sunday, and so with no further ado…

Cottesloe suffered a reversal versus UWA in a strange game of Rugby Union Football on Saturday at the Nest by a score of 37 points to 27. A fired up and desperate Uni side used a combination of defensive line speed and ambitious wide attack to win the match and pip champions Associates into fourth spot.

Cottesloe ensured a home semi final for themselves against West Scarborough in a couple of weeks with a destructive performance versus Wanneroo on a score of 64 points to 19.

In a match much dominated by winter weather conditions, Cottesloe managed to do enough to snatch a draw from the jaws of defeat against Nedlands on a score of 19 points apiece.
