Cottesloe suffered a reversal versus UWA in a strange game of Rugby Union Football on Saturday at the Nest by a score of 37 points to 27. A fired up and desperate Uni side used a combination of defensive line speed and ambitious wide attack to win the match and pip champions Associates into fourth spot.
Cottesloe ensured a home semi final for themselves against West Scarborough in a couple of weeks with a destructive performance versus Wanneroo on a score of 64 points to 19.
In a match much dominated by winter weather conditions, Cottesloe managed to do enough to snatch a draw from the jaws of defeat against Nedlands on a score of 19 points apiece.
